Teen!England x Teen!Reader The Boy Next Door

Today was your first day living in London, England. You and your parents moved here from New York because of you dads job. You were sitting in your new room, about triple the size of your room in NY, unpacking the rest of your items, which was not much. You heard from your parents that the house was very close by to one of the best private schools in the world, and you were to start there in a week.

"______" your mother yells "How is the unpacking going?"

"Fine, Mother. there is not much left."

"Good. There is a Family that lives next door and they will be coming over for dinner tonight so make sure you get cleaned up!"

"Sounds Good."

"I forgot to mention, they have three boys around your age."

"Thanks for the Info."

Right before you left, your boyfriend Alfred dumped you because he said he did not want a long distance relationship. when you had arrived at the airport, you called his cellphone but it went to his voice mail.

"Hi, this is Alfred F. Jones. please leave a message if you are not _______."

You still had feelings for Alfred, but he rejected them. the last thing you unpack is a big cork board with pictures of you, your friends, and Alfred. sighing, you hang up the board above your bed. looking out the window, you see a boy with blonde hair and green eyes staring at you. the minute you look at him, he looks away. you change into your navy blue casual dress and black flats, pulling your long (H/C) hair back into a braid. a few minutes later, the doorbell rings.

"I got it!" You say, running downstairs. You open the door and see a woman with dark red hair and green eyes.

"Hello there. i am Elizabeth Kirkland and these are my boys, Iain, Christan, and Arthur." the boys each had green eyes, but Iain had dark red hair, while Christan and Arthur had blonde hair.

"Nice to meet all of you. I'm ______. Please come inside." you say, and they follow you to the dining room for dinner, which is beef stew and potatoes. The whole time at dinner, it seemed that Arthur was staring at you. After finishing dinner, everyone went outside around a fire. you feel a tap on your shoulder, and he is right behind you.

"Excuse me, but i feel like we have met before. Do you know someone by the name of Alfred Jones?"

He just had to start the conversation by bringing up him

"Arthur, please excuse me." tears welling up in your eyes, you run back into the house.

Arthur's POV

"Great job Arthur," whispers Iain,"Make the lass cry the first day you meet her."

I run back into the house and go upstairs and find her crying in her room, and knock on the door

"Hey, its me."

Your POV

"Go Away!" i yell, wiping the tears from my eyes.

"What did i do?" he asks. sounding like he is going to leave.

"Come inside" i yell, opening the door. he walks inside with a sad look upon his face.

"Tell me what i did." He asks

"Alfred used to be my boyfriend until yesterday," you say, grabbing his photo off of your wall. "He didn't want to have a long distance relationship so he dumped me."

"That's were i remember you." he begins "Alfred is my brother and he sent me a photo of you and him because i did not believe he actually had a girlfriend."

"Wow."

"He told me everything about you and how great of a person you are."

"Really Arthur?"

"Really."

"Do you think that I'm a good person?" you ask

"Yes!" He blurts, a blush creeping up on his face.

"Thanks." you say, ruffling his messy blonde hair

"Arthur, were going!" Elizabeth says

"I need to go, _______. Ill see you tomorrow?"

"Sure"

"Goodnight then," He says, taking your hand and kissing it

"Goodnight" You say, your face turning red.

After he leaves, you take the pictures of Alfred and you and throw them in the trash, crawl under your covers and cradle the hand Arthur kissed until you fall asleep.
